I managed to squeeze in a short ride Sunday afternoon. Rode down to Long Beach/Seal Beach. Hmm...went for a short ride to Long Beach...okay whatever. And no seals were seen at Seal Beach. Sorry. Temps in the 70s with some light winds. Girls in bikinis were gone for the day.

Okay, same place little different angle and lens setting. I've noticed I take a lot of pictures of my bike from the rear. Like these last two. I need to work on that.

There's nothing wrong with that. You're just saying: "Hey, my bike has a sweet caboose and I like it!"  winker

I love any coastline.  Great shots, even if the angle on the bike is the same.

Nice pics! Kinda eerie though...it's like it was just you and your bike in a world with no other people...wait actually that sounds pretty cool too!

In your second shot, that container ship is not very far off shore.  I'm not familiar with the area - is that the Ocean or some other body of water?

That's the Pacific Ocean right at the Orange County/Los Angeles border. This is just south of the Port of Long Beach/Los Angeles. Not only that, there are a couple major refineries between Seal Beach and the ports, and a bunch of oil drilling platforms, so there's tanker traffic too. Plus thousands of recreational and fishing boats. Very bust channel between here and Catalina.
