Help me return my carbs to "stock" on my 96 750!!

So here's the story. I've had my 96 Nighthawk 750 for a while now and made the mistake years ago of putting dumb pod filters on it  , it's never been right since so I just bought an airbox and would like to revert back to stock. I need both pilot and main jets as I've drilled out the ones I had to play around with running the bike on E85 Ethanol. I don't want to go totally stock with the jetting since that's usualy lean.

What size pilots should I get, are the stockers fine, or are they lean? It had 35's in there when I got it.

What size mains should I get? I don't have the stock ones anymore so I have no idea what size to go for. For refrence I have the stock exhaust installed, but I cut the tube down inside so it's a little free'er flowing, besides that the engine is stock, and is in awesome shape.

I also have the stock needles, I've heard that they are better for everyday riding than the dyno jet ones, is this right?

The airbox I just got has a UNI foam filter in it in good shape. Should I keep that or go back to a stock paper filter?

Well I just sold a set of carbs to Hap,  as far as the jets go there are plenty of kits out there but most are for aftermarket exhaust mods...maybe it's time for a new can too!

If I were you, I would purchase a DynoJet kit for it. It will come with all new main jets and needles. The great thing about it, is you can use it with the stock airbox/filter and stock exhaust...and it will make it slightly richer then stock so you avoid that stock leanness.
