I'm at the point in my engine removal where I need to get the drive pryed back. I've read through this whole thread and for the life of me can't seem to figure out how to do this. I have the rubber boot pulled back and there doesn't seem to be anyplace to get the screwdriver to get hold of anything to do the prying. What am I missing?

Didn't Dbracing pop off the swingarm cap and stick a screwdriver through the pivot bolt to hold the springy u-joint and shaft rearward?

Don't see how you can pry the drive back if the rear axle is still in.

I got it figured out after stepping away and regrouping.

Its amazing how taking a quick break can make the job go easier when you come back to it.

Its kind of like proof reading something...you don't see the mistakes at first, but if you take a break and come back, the mistakes jump out at you.

Well, actually it was about a 24 hour break Hap1  , but your absolutely right....stepping away can make a huge difference.
