Hello fellow Nighthawk enthusiasts. I got my bike, joined the forum so now it time for a picture.  aparat

I've always wanted an inline 750 so I finally decided it was time to see what Craigslist had to offer. Found this 82 750SC Nighthawk with 14K miles in pretty decent mechanical condition but needed some detailing to make it look good. It cleaned up pretty well (at least from 5 feet away) but up close there's some pitting on the chrome, etc. It needs new fork seals and I need to install the new rear tire that came with it.

I've been out of riding for about 20 years (while the kids grew up) so I'm taking it slow. I'll take the MSF course and do lots of parking lot practice before I spend a lot of seat time on the road. But the more I ride, the more I find I missed it all these years. I'm looking forward to some good times with this bike. biker_h4h1

Glad to be part of this community

Hard to think a bike looking that nice would've been about 10 years old when you took a break from riding 20 years ago.  It's a beauty, enjoy!

Thanks for the warm  welcome

I've still got lots of little jobs to do on the bike. Luckily since we don't have any sun in Seattle, the paint doesn't fade.  Hap1

Hey there! Welcome!!! wave I'm pretty sure I've seen that very same bike on CL... as I live in Seattle too! I just got my bike in Feb and still find myself scouring the pages of CL to see what other Nighthawks are out there. I think I'm addicted.  Hap1

Again  welcome  Nice lookin' bike btw! As soon as the weather is nicer (hopefully soon) AND after you take the riding course maybe we can get in a ride or a few.  Hap1
