Here is a photo of my 92 NH 750.  I bought it last year with 4300 miles on it.  Since I bought it I have done the following:
Progressive Shock Springs
SS Brake Line
LED License Plate frame (Brake & turn)
Rear Alert Brake light modulator
Factory Pro jet kit + larger slow jets
2004 Honda 599 Headlight
Avon Storm ST Tires
Center stand

Working on:
Custom Dynamics 1.8" LED clusters in the tail light

Thinking about:
Eastern Beaver H4 to H11 wiring harness
Dart CB500 Flyscreen

Whats the benefit of the 599 headlight?
1 - Much better optics, dedicated reflector for the low beam and one for the high beam.
2 - more light output. The light has two H11 bulbs (55W each) vs the stock H4 (55 low/65 high).  The high beam on the 599 headlight has both bulbs on totaling 110W.

It is also very easy to install H9 bulbs in the housing.  The H9 bulbs are 65W each.

After I install the LED clusters in the tail light.  I am going to do some testing with an ammeter to see if there is enough alternator output to run H9 bulbs.

I can always install LED bulbs in the front turn signals to reduce the electrical load.

Very very nice. I  am getting a 1991 750 in a couple weeks and will right off the bat do the shocks and springs and stainless brake lines.  For a 20 year old bike those things seem to be a no brainer. Thinking of getting the front fork brace too but it seems pricey.

Doing a lot of reading here gaining ideas.

Questions.

Factory Pro jet kit + larger slow jets. What did that gain you?

Do you have pictures to what you did to the tail lights? I have seen flashers and think I will definitely do that mod.

The bike is designed to run lean from the factory to meet emission requirements.  The bike had a V&H exhaust when I bought and I installed a uni filter.  Both of these make it run even leaner.  When I first got hte bike it ran like garbage.  Off idle to 2500 RPM it would run for a second then die.  Over 2500 RPM it ran ok.  I rebuilt the carbs and the condition improved slightly.  Then I rebuilt the carbs again and  installed the jet kit and slow jets and now it runs great.

I will post photos of the LED install when I am finished.  Right now the lens is separated from the housing.  The LED clusters should be delivered tomorrow.

Great photo and a nicely modded Hawk.  I like the 599 headlight, it's subtle but major improvement in looks.

It was an inexpensive brake light modulator that I bought off ebay.

Here is a link to the seller: http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/rearalert/

I just posted a video of the light: (The light is red in person.  I think the LEDs overload the cameras sensor)

Nice looking NH you have there. I like the sound of those V&H pipes. Did you have any issues with the center stand with those pipes? Oil filter still accessible? I also like the lighting on the brake light and plate frame. I tried the link for e-bay that you posted and there's nothing there. Did you get the plate frame on e-bay as well?

There is a slight interference (about 1/4") with the center stand spring and the exhaust pipe.  The spring  has to curve slightly around the exhaust. Also there is where to mount the rubber stop for the stand.  It supposed to mount to the left side exhaust pipe.  Yes, the oil filter is still accessible.

Try sending the seller a message on eBay.  I had a question for him when I installed the the rear alert and he responded within a day.

I got the license plate frame from Signal Dynamics Corp (http://signaldynamics.com/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=9&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=77&vmcchk=1&Itemid=77)
I did not play full price, I think it was around $40 vs. $125.  I got a blemished/returned one.  The chrome is flaking off in a couple of spots.
