Well, it is kind of a ride report. My local Honda Shop is about 3 miles from my house, but I did ride to it. They were having a vintage bike show and one of the employees there talked me into entering my 700s.
So the day before, I shined up the 'ole girl.

As you are about to see, I was way out of my league. Here's a few pictures of the competition. A Honda 150 from the '60's

Laminar, here's one you might enjoy. a '77 cb750K. 9K on the odo, absolutely perfect in every way.

Here's a '76 CB750, again, absolutely flawless. The guy that owns this one is currently restoring a '69 CB750 Sandcast. Big bucks there.

Couple of nice looking Yami's there also - this one from 1975

And this 650 twin from 1980

Before this, I had never seen a Suzuki Water Buffalo before, let alone one if mint shape. The owner of this bike rides it regularly.

Of course, the European models were represented as well. A sharp BSA 750.

A Norton Commander - nice looking bike.

Triumph was there as well.

A Triumph Cafe' racer - this bike has won several national events according to its owner.

This is a '58 Harley 883 Cafe Racer, again with a documented racing history. I helped the guy push start it (it's the only way to start it). Took 2 tries, but only because the first try was in 1st gear (tire locked up). On the 2nd try, it fired right up. The owner of this bike said he has turned town $25K for it already.

A nice time.

Loki met me over there and we shot the bull for a while. The weather was turning bad, so we left before the judging was over. On the way out, we met Spiritof86 pulling in. I said hello, but did not stay from fear of getting caught in the rain.
Quite a few people talked to me about my bike. It was kind of cool, but most of those bikes are not ridden and that's just not my cup of tea. If I can't ride it, I don't want it.
