Just bought a 1982 CB650SC and the exhausts need repair or replacement. One of the four is intact, and for the other three the mufflers have rusted off. I note that MAC has a four into one system I could use for replacement. I wonder if anyone has information on slipons that might work for this bike. Somehoe doing the 4 into 1 doesn't seem cool, and I have visited two salvage places with no luck on the 4 into 4 systems avail;able from old "retired" bikes.

Any advice folks? Would love to restore this to close to natural....

Original 4-4 are near impossible to find. When you can find them they're either on a nice working bike or complete junk.
Two of my pipes are cracked rather badly. I'm taking them to a welding shop in a few weeks when I get to a town with a mom and pop welding operation.
When I do the restoration, the plan at this point is to rifle salvage hardware as best as I can then create them as needed.

I am currently looking to put a 4 into 1 sysytem on my 84 650 and my stock 4 into 4 is in almost perfect shape. When I do get the new system, I was planning on selling the old one. I'll let you know when that happens if you're interested.

Not sure if your 4 into 4 will fit the 82 CB650SC. If so then I am keen to buy. Let me know when you change them out.

Cheers
