Sounds good to me.  I would probably come up early on the 26th(Ican get to Mena in 90 minutes or so).  Ride all day Sat. with you, Mark, and anyone else that wants to join in.

I'll show cards first.  I'd rather June 26th.  I'm thinking I could leave in the morning of the 25th - I can be there in about 6 hours.  We can ride Friday PM (if ya'll are there) and Saturday 26th.  I can go home on Sunday (or even Monday).

Your thoughts?
June is usually pretty busy for me(self employed 1 man show),so I won't know for sure if I can get away, till the last min. But I will stay tuned to this thread!

Can you post some suggestions for a place to stay in Mena?  I like clean, cheap, and quiet (in that order).

I always stay at the Sun Country Inn in the back addition,I have a friend who likes the Limetree Inn(it has a resturant),there is another, but I can't remember the name.

The Limetree is cheaper and looks a tad nicer.  L/L - I assume you know where it is on Hwy 71 just East of downtown Mena.  Will this be a convenient place for me to stay?

They have a 24 hour cancellation policy.  I'm thinking about making a reservation for the nights of June 25 and 26.  If the weather or something else gets a hold of us, I can always cancel.  What ya'll think?

An Arkansas/Oklahoma/East Texas mini rally.   super  Anyone else interested?

HP,the limetree is closer to the talimena scenic drive.
It is a little older than the Sun Country, but have not seen either since the tornado went through, they might both be new!
And having a restaurant on site is good if you are a big breakfast type!

HP-The Limetree is still there after a tornado came through last year.  It will be a good location for lots of good rides.  I'm ready for a mini-rally.

It just so happens that I'll be on my way back from Dallas that weekend I might be able to make a detour. Depends on how my tests go. Ether way I wouldn't mind meeting and riding back with the south La fellas.
