Here is a four minute video running through the Southern Kettle Moraine in southeast Wisconsin.  While the video is edited the views looking down the road from the rider's seat is essentially the entire ride.  Most of the cut shots are appropriate for the run but may not be exact.  The entire stretch is only about five miles but it is really fun with quite a few of twists and turns and some elevation changes as well courtesy of the glaciers thousands of years ago.

Cortech tail bag.  I love it, stays put and hold lots of stuff plus it is easy on and easy off.  If you are looking for a tail bag I highly recommend it.

+1 - the quick shots as you go through the gears was like a theatre movie.  That was cool.  I'll be that 4 minute movie took you a very long time to create.  Thanks for sharing that with us.

Great video fishball.  You must have camera mounts hanging from every open space on your NH.   Hap1
Those shots must have been hard to get right (lot's of practice).
Thanks for sharing.

Great job!  I also liked the quick shots and different angles.  How do you mount your camera(s) to the side of your bike?

Thanks, I'll let my friend Mark know that his music makes you want to drink, I think he will like that. beer

Great job!  I also liked the quick shots and different angles.  How do you mount your camera(s) to the side of your bike?

I purchased a RAM mount system.  It came in three pieces, a U-bolt, flexible arm and camera mount.  Most of the images were shot from one handlebar mount and I just spun the camera around.  The back view had the u-bolt mounted to the frame, the only place it would actually fit.  I had wanted to mount it to the front of the frame but the bolt wasn't wide enough.  CJbear has a mount that he places on the front of the bike on the frame, I've been meaning to ask him how he did that.

Any digital cam or video cam will work. As long as it has that tri-pod mounting hole in the bottom. The RAM mount base plate has the proper threaded bolt sticking up for the camera to screw onto.

OK, I have that U-bolt mount to the ball clamp off my ATV for flood light. I think the guy I got the quad from was a night hunter  scratcher

I'll have to try and find the match to it with the plate part. Maybe a camera store ?  Then I'll have to lean how to post video's, good Lord...

if your looking for a good camera I highly recommend the Contour HD 1080p. Light weight, simple to use, and can stick to the side of your helmet for a smooth shot on the roughest surfaces. They make an attachment that allows you to mount it to any regular camera mount so I'll be able to mount it to the crash bar or handle bars. Might even glue a ram mount to the side of the fuel cell for a shot down the side of the bike.

Cjbear has a ram on the crash bar fish.

get the extra battery and 16g memory card...it's worth it. Does not come with the mount that attaches to standard camera mounts (no 1/4"? screw in the bottom). Does come with helmet and goggle mount.

I have a flash video camera made by Samsung, I believe the internal memory holds 16GB plus there is a slot for a card if you need more.  I don't know the model off hand and the camera is not nearby for me to check.  It's an okay camera but it gets buggy at speed mostly from the vibration of the bike motor.  Even though I can shoot in widescreen format it is not an HD camera, I would prefer to have an HD camera.

Nice video fishball  thumb

I've been tempted to do this with my RAM camera mount, but haven't worked up the courage to do it while riding.

Gammer I think you were the one that sent me the link to RAM for all the different mounting options.  I should also clear up that I don't spin the camera when I'm riding, I pull over and adjust the camera angle for the different views.  Too much fumbling around when actually moving to make that possible with this mounting system.

The song is called Blue Motorbike and the band is Mark Truesdell and the Lost Pioneers.  Mark is a good friend of mine from my high school days and we roomed together in college.  I've seen many of his live shows and he is one of the most talented artists I've ever known.  I believe his music is on iTunes, either under his name or his current band The Spirals.  He has focused much more on folk and acoustic music as he has gotten older.  I'll let him know you enjoyed the song.

Fish, you make some great videos. That was very enjoyable to watch. What editing program do you use?

I have a ram mount on my crash bar, one on my handle bars, and one in my mirror mount.

I use the latest version of iMovie for the video and create the animation intro in Anime Studio/Debut.  Also a bit of help from PhotoShop and Illustrator.

Another great video, I really like what your doing.

May I suggest a few drive-by scenes for your next feature presentation? A couple of shots with a complete image of driver & bike in motion would be the icing on the cake I think.

That is something that I would like to do but it would either require a boom mounted to the bike or another rider/driver and camera operator.  So far it has been a one man show.  I like your suggestion but it isn't likely soon.
