Very few spark plug wrenches will remove the plugs.  Did you bike come with the tool kit?  Remove the seat and the left side plastic panel.  Look for a black plastic cover with a slotted screw head fastener on it.  turn the fastener 1/4 turn counterclockwise and the plastic cover will remove.  Inside this compartment, hopefully you will find the tool kit, which hopefully will contain the specialized spark plug wrench that works perfectly.

Thanks for this. I'm not sure how long it would have taken me to find that one if I hadn't read your post. I found another tool kit underneath the buddy right behind the tail light and thought that was it, now I can use that one for some spare parts (iow: clutch-& brake lever and some tie-rips), a tire pressure gauge and a few emergency band aids. Besides a few specs of rust mine looked pretty good and complete btw, that's going to be helpful some time  thumb

So how hard is it to get your bike to the other islands?

@ LOKi: no not at all, it'll be way easier to get it from island to island once/if the super ferry comes back, but right now I'm fixing this bike to use it as an actual mode of transportation because i have no other alternative, not as a "boy toy" or second ride like most older men do

I use my 700s as my daily commuter. It's nice to smile all the way to work.  rayof

Did you check in the document box, under the rear cowl?

I did and its not there. I found one on ebay for around $29, although it's not the OEM it's a copy of the original. If i can't find an original I'll get the copy.
