Hey, I recently repaired a 91 honda nighthawk 750, I had to replace a few several parts on the front end, as well as rewire the front turn signals and headlight.

The headlight works, and the turn signals signal fine, but when the key is in the on position, the forward turn signals stay on, I am wondering if this is normal, or if they should stay off and only signal when the turn signal is active.

Also, is there a decent way to remove a few rust spots on the chain or will that need to be replaced. thanks!

Are you meaning that the fronts are running lights?  If so, that's the way it should be.

Well, the headlight is always on, but I know that is how it is supposed to be, but the turn signals are in a lit position, (not blinking).

That would be correct.

Oil the chain and ride it.
Replace chain when it has elongated past the wear indicator on the swing arm.  See shop manual.
Everyone should have a shop manual when riding an old bike.
