Thursday evening, I rode out to Great Lakes Dragaway with a group of friends. I was entertaining the idea of running my Bandit to see what it would do but, I decided watching was good enough for me. It was bike night but there were alot of cool cars running as well.

Some of our groups bikes.

Some random bikes

One HD I wouldn't mind owning.

I really liked the custom wheels.

On to the bike racing.

Here is something you just don't see every day!!!

And my favorite of the night.. This tricked out GSX R 1100 was running a turbo and ran 9.22 @ 188 MPH!!! I was totally impressed.

Now for the cars...

I appologise for the picture quality. I was trying to get more action shots but, my camera is a $50.00 Best Buy special that is basically worthless. Someday, I will invest in a good camera.

Very nice pics.  This is the kind of thing that should happen every weekend.

Nice pics, good looking bikes and thanks for posting. I can see you are a GM man. Mostly all fast Chevys at the start line!  burnout burnout

Thanks for sharing!  Love that Dark Side of the Moon paint job.  The more I look at your bandit the more I consider getting a smaller one for my wife.

Thanks for sharing - I love going to the drag races.  I was hoping you took the Bandit down the line.  Maybe next time.

I was thinking about running that night but, I just wasn't feeling it so, I figured I better listen to my gut this time.  happy1
