http://www.ssgear.com/products/men/gloves/motsp_glv.html

I got mine for like $46 after tax at my local shop (10% off sale).

It's one of the few gloves that fit my hand right.  It's a decent glove.

It's pretty comfortable.  I would expect it to be cooler than it is, but my hands don't really get hot.

My two bigest gripes are:

1.  The stitch at the end of the fingers are done in a way that the seam goes right under my finger nail.

2.  I've had them for about 3 months and they've ripped from pulling them on.

At a seam, or the mesh tore?  That's hardly reassuring either way.

+1

go with all leather with armor if you can. Not that much more expensive.

+1 on the all leather. In related news I turned down a sweet deal at the local bike shop the other day.  The alpinestars rep was there with a new line of motorcycle boots.  One pair with buckles the other with zippers, no frills black just like I want too.  To top it all off they were even my size.  He says " These retail for $189 and $210 but I'll sell them to you for $69 or $90 if you'll write up a product test on them."  I turned it down.  banghead  Told him I'd love to buy them but only if they came with a nice couch to sleep on when SOQS found out... rollinglaugh

The tear was the stitching at the seam where the mesh and the leather connected.  Yep... I can't imagine why I wouldn't go with all leather next time.  Live and learn.

Just to let you guys know... I had to resew top and bottom stitches and resew the velcro back onto the rubber/plastic tab.  Not really thrilled with how these wore out in less than a season.

I got the FS gloves with armor, worked great till the armor started tearing out of the cloth holder, used some epoxy and they tore again.  Didn't last 1/2 a season.  Got about 20 rides out of them.  Glad I got them on sale < $40.

Why do I always find out about this stuff after I buy it?  banghead

I bought some last week. They are replacing a pair of Olympia's that are coming apart at the seam. I can forgive them...they protected me in two accidents.  musicboohoo I just hope the S/S hold up for a while...without any accidents!
