Well I didn't know quite where to put this so if need be please move to the correct spot. I was doing an oil change on the bike and this is the process I have to go thru so I thought I would share my Cleaning of the bike also.
Here she is on the lift with the two side pieces of the fairing off.

Stripped a lil more, starting to feel naked.

Lookin like a fool with your pants on the ground.

As you can see its a multipiece faring and fun to take off and put back on....rrriiiggghhttt..
From here I was able to do the oil change and while she was draining got some cleaning done. Wish I would have gotten b4 shots but here they are clean.

And the other side:

And starting to come back together.

Back outside ready for car wash before complete clean.

Short jaunt to the car wash and after the main wash.

All polished and shiny..like a purty new bike.

Also while I was waiting for the oil to drain from the frame, I snapped a few pictures of my father's other bikes. They are dirty as we have both been busy and havn't had time to clean them. These were all taken back during the first weekend in June. Since then the green bike has been polished and shiny again.
Here is his pride and joy.

He bought the BSA from the same man who willed my bike to me. It was a birthday present to the man from his wife. He worked on it off and on for the two years he had it and could not get it to run, he did everything to it, well everything but go thru the engine..only has like 1500 miles on the bike. Never got it to ran, well after he got diagnosed with pancriatic cancer he didnt get anything else done. My dad got it home, cleaned the carbs once to make sure, kicked it the first time and it sooo wanted to run..couldnt get it. After much looking he felt inside the choke tube, and it was stuck at the top..Thus the bike was trying to fire wide open. He lubed it up, got it back down and kicked it again..same thing. More gibbs and down once more..Kick FIRE! It ran like a champ that fast. I don't know how many of you know much about the british bikes, but the brake is on the left and the shifter on the right. It was fun trying to watch him figure that out...quite comical. After he shut it down, he worked at it and got the starting sequence down. Get the piston to TDC, trickle the carbs till they spit, hit the compression release once.. and BAM done. He rides the bike proudly when we go to our antique bike gatherings.
Next bike is his Gina Macho 175 made by Galeerah..(pronounced gah leer ah, not sure if spelled right). This bike he knew a friend had in his barn and never rode it. Tried to buy it many times and was told nah not yet, just not ready to part with it. Well the old devil passed away and at his estate auction this thing sat in the corner of the barn, covered in years of dust, and no one was interested. My dad got it for a steal..felt bad for his wife (also a family friend) and offered her what he was offering her late husband. She respectfully declined and said it was his stubborn old ass's fault..we got a chuckle from this. So anywho, apparently this bike was imported from Argentina and there was only 400 imported. They were crated over and sent to Harley. They were going to slap there name on it and call it their own. Well the deal fell thru and no more came and only a handful are known of. There is literally NO info on the internet about them. My father searched for a few weeks and got nothing and has been since and not gotten much. Anywho, to the picture.

Also want to say this bike only has a few hundred miles on it. Not sure how many but if anyone interested will do a tach check on all of them.
Ok..lets see here..anyone tell me what this is?? Ill leave it to be a surprise and respond later.

Next up is my personal favorite. A 1972 Suzuki GT750 aka The Water Buffalo. This bike sat in storage for many years and I drooled over it A LOT and kept buggin my dad to get it out and get it running. Well finally when I was getting closer to the age of riding my own (16 yrs old, or 9 yrs ago) we got her out, cleaned and running..Thats another story.. This thing when clean...looks GORGEOUS..minus the tank..we have plans to completely re paint the tank. For you that dont know, this is a 2-stroke 3 cylinder..and its still as fun today as it was new. Heavy bike, but FAASSTT. Scary fast even.. Don't mind the puddle below it..my dad put new tranny fluid in it, the bike rejected it and pissed it out..we learned our lesson. We have had many many many compliments on this bike.. One of my favorite..a Kid rode up next to my bike on his new rocket and was like WOAH WHAT IS THAT!!??!! my father looked over, said its a new conecept suzuki and the kid was amazed...dumbass.... SO here ya go, again, way dirty but still nice bike. Myfather also claims, we have enough parts laying around right now for not one, not two, but two and a HALF more buffalo's.. all with low miles on them. I keep telling him we need to dig them out and put one more together and go on a buffalo tour. He wants to..but too many projects currently...

The seat is also up, as we are charging the battery at this picture taking.
NEXT UP....
is one of his daily's..his BMW..for the life of me I cannot remember the year..this one tho, he got after trading his Moto Guzzy Cali II Convert. Now the convert was a two speed bike, the guy traded straight across..I didn't like this trade..at the time..the goose as we called it..was my motorcycle wheels...so here is the pic.

Next up, this one is for sale people!! A 2002 Kawasaki Nomad 1500. Beautiful bike that my dad bought out of southern Iowa and rode a lot. Then got a deal and put a harley trunk on it. Looks sharp.. tho no fancy story behind this bike.

Oh, this is the green bike I was talkin about that is now spotless.
Ok boys and girls, well thats all the pictures I have..I still have at least three more bikes to picture and get on here...so stay tuned!!
