I think its just a suggestion happy. You don't have to but there is nothing out there that would hurt the naked foot. What they are saying is give it a try. The sand is cooler than you think.

Nice report and photos, BB.

I have to admit, being around demanding people 24/7, the view of vast, wide open spaces and lack of homo sapiens is very attractive.

And, yes, it is true, the whiter the sand, the cooler it is to walk on.
