A while ago I was putting up my Hawk for the night in the shed. I use a bike mover because of the space (the lack of). I usually ride it inside withe the front wheel in the corner, put the center stand up on the mover and carefully swing the rear against the wall. While pushing the rear the little wheels of the mover got stuck in a crack, the bike tipped over in the direction of the wall. Once it goes, you can't hold it. It fell over against the wall. One cracked mirror and an damaged fairing.  banghead

Tried to teach the girlfriend to ride once. I stressed to not use the front brake at first. Well you can guess what she did.....

Yikes jonno, good luck finding a replacement fairing.

Fixed it with a multi tool and two component plastic stuff. A bit of paint and it will hold till next winter. This winter technical stuff, next cosmetics.

ps. dropped my previous cb700 in '93 because of a senior citizen who didn't see me! Total loss.......

I dropped mine push starting it.   It is hard to push start a Nighthawk.   My battery died.

I'll raise my hand to have dropped my harley on one side, angrily picked it up and accidentally pushed it over onto the other side -_-

Almost did it with my nighthawk once too. >_-

Gravel was the culprit both times.

Was pulling into my friend's driveway, was about to get off the bike, and forgot to put the kickstand down. I caught it in time and it didn't take any damage. My friend helped me level it out and whatnot. He owns some giant Harley and told me how he's done that to his bike twice. No chance he can get it upright again by himself because of the bike's weight. I felt ok after that, and think that I'll be paying a hell of a lot more attention from there on out.
