Nice stable.  I had a xs750 just like that one (not dressed) - looks like your H/B has not ridden that bike in a while.

Thanks, I will let the hubby know you like his bikes.

That 750 was his only bike for about 16 years then he picked up the 1100 and got her running properly two years ago.  Started riding it last year most of the time.  The 750 is actually ridden about every two weeks or so.  The pictures look kind of sad, these were taken right after bringing them down to the garage after winter storage so they were both pretty dirty and unpolished.

Two years ago or so I had recovered the seat on the 750 and it looks as if the 1100 will need recovering soon.

Never seen one like it over here, but I love gandpa's little Honda. Especially with those tires.

I wonder what that huge antenna is for though..

Grandpa's bike was his mode of transportation in the deserts of Arizona when they would go south for the winters.  He loved taking that out and playing in the desert -- seeing what he could find.

As far as the antenna .... I think it is the front break cable.  Whatever it is, he had disconnected it and was trying to get it lubricated as it had been sticking.

Thanks for the background story, I can just picture him riding there now. I wish we had a desert to play with over here.

As for the front break cable, that makes sense...  shog
