« on: July 19, 2014, 05:57:41 AM »
Hello, my build thread was just getting a little recognition before the site overhaul, so I thought i would post it back up. I have over 1300 miles on it since the customization. Tell me what you guys think

Don't get me wrong you have done great work...wish you left it as it was though. Increasingly rare to see the '82s in quality condition as displayed in your before photos. At least you kept the stock 4-4 though.

I am just a boring stock guy I guess haha. Your work looks well done though, enjoy!!

I like the changes! Looks like a totally different bike. What tank did you use for that? Did you fabricate the rear fender or is it from a different bike?

Sorry for the delayed response. The rear fender is a Jessie James Tombstone. It is a great quality fender with a lot of  different looks to choose from depending on which way you cut it. I also just added a fairing to the bike, ill post pics in 5 minutes. Also, Flexputty thank you for the kind words, i loved the way my bike looked before also, i just thought it was a great, dependable platform to build off of.

Thank you for all the compliments , Darren the tank is a shaved 2001 shadow American Classic tank, I had to buy a pingel petcock in order for it to work. And of course custom mounting tabs

Thanks fear and flex putty , from the beginning of the build I wanted a fairing on the bike. As soon as I saw this one I bought it. I had to add additional brackets other than just the headlight mount in order to stiffen it up. I am very happy with it now
