My First Bike - A 93 Nighthawk 750
« on: July 23, 2014, 02:06:58 PM »
I took the MSF course last month, then figured I would take a while looking for my first motorcycle.  But the first bike I looked at was this clean 93 750 and it was love at first sight. I've been riding--and enjoying!--it for about a month, so I'm a complete newb. But, I'm a newb that bought the right first bike!

Motorcycle course, plus a clean nighthawk means probably the best you can get out of motorcycling!  You treat it right, and it will treat you right for years to come!  Welcome to the group!  cheers3

Great looking bike!  What kind of bag is that?  Not much on bags but I really like how that one looks.

Welcome aboard.  That is a very clean looking NH.  How many miles?  I 2nd RJ that this bike could last many years.  100,000+mile nighthawks are not uncommon.

Thanks Odecca, and thanks for the welcome RJ.

That's the Nelson-Rigg tail pack.  I like the size and shape--it's no wider than the seat.  I thought a lot of the tail bags were a little bulky, and I just wanted something to carry a few things in.

It just ticked over to 9,000 and so far as I can tell those are the real miles (though does anyone else's odometer leave digits in between numbers sometimes?).  Bike will last longer than me I suspect  :-)

Clean! Welcome to the world of riding.  Remember your course fundamentals and you will learn a TON on the road this year.  Treat every ride as a learning experience and enjoy!
