Need a suggestion. I have an older water filled style. I would like a sealed type. Not looking for top of the line, just a basic battery seeing as how I don't ride too much. Is there a universal bike size or what?

There is no universal size. You need one of the correct size and with the terminals on the correct side for it to fit the battery box correctly.

You'll need a 14ah size battery. Most manufacturers will have some version of this in there part number. Or they will have a cross-reference chart to be able to look it up.

Great thanks. Ive got the original shop manual. Ill look in there for a size. I just figured the part # would be outdated in the book.

You should be able to get one at a local battery/alternator/starter shop. Like Munkey said, they can cross reference it.

Watch the terminal polarity.  I almost got screwed by a bunch of dopey clerks that didn't consider this.
