I know, I know it sounds like the start of a bad joke. Well it actually happened today. My wife and I on the XJ750 (Yamaha), my daughter on the CB450SC (you know what that is) and her boyfriend on the Harley (I don't know what kind it is so don't ask) got together this morning to meet the rest of the riders for breakfast then go for a
150 200 mile ride up to Bear Lake.
this is the path we took
http://www.mapquest.com/mq/4-7NkBRzfA5DRX564UQ2zqWe all met at CJ Restaurant in Ogden to have breakfast. I had the french toast patter which came with three Texas size french toast, 3 eggs over easy bacon ans sausage. (Sorry no pictures of the food, I'll remember the camera next time) There was so much food I could not eat it all.
After breakfast we headed up 12th Street in Ogden, through Ogden canyon and around Pine View reservoir then up to Monte Cristo. It was a pleasent 73* when we left. Once we left Ogden there was little to no traffic. Beautiful scenery on the way up. Here are some pictures from my wife's cell phone.

Me trying to get the round Hay bales

While we were stepped here I talked to a man that was from New York who was on his way home from to Los Angeles. He left a month before and was riding around the country.
Then we headed to Bear Leak and around to Garden City. By this time the temperature climbed to about 78* (We climbed several thousand feet)

We stopped for a Raspberry shake which is what that area is famous for. While we were eating our shake my wife suggested that if I won another tag in the photo tag game that it should be your bike by a light house. I told her it was already done. Then she told me that we passed one several miles back

Then we gassed up and headed down Highway 89 into Logan through Logan Canon (sorry No pictures herethe battery was low on the phone)
When we got to Logan we pulled into the local HD dealer for lunch. A member of our group owns the dealership in Logan and Ogden so he had his employees fire up the grill and cook us lunch. Imagine that free lunch from HD for mostly non Harley bikes.

We then rode down Sardine Canyon (oddly enough it was the widest canion we rode through) t Brigham city then back home.
The ride leader (who happens to be my daughters boyfriends dad) told us it was a 150 mile ride. He was only off by 50 miles

.
P.S. Sorry for the small pictures, I'll get the real camera next trip
