There was this topic about two weeks ago.  I think carrying in luggage was preferred, a tank bag being most handy.
Let's talk Guns and Motorcycling

I would think that actually carrying on your person would be imprudent during a crash.  Not something I want between my ribcage and the pavement.

Yep we had this discussion, and it was even productive for a while.  Sadly as conversations about things like this always go, it resulted in political drivel that had nothing to do with motorcycles.

Happy, your link is this thread, I CC and Open carry on the bike's or walking around. I have a few differant calibers but I like my S&W compact .40 in the Serpa holster set Right Hand tilted 1 setting forward. Them Serpa holsters are Very nice, weapon locks in. Have em for may shooters. Also leather shoulder holster. And Pocket guns. Never no when you might need a shooter.

Seeing as how this was brought up not too long ago and ended poorly, I'm going to nip this in the bud before it gets out of hand. If you want more info, follow this link here. I fixed HC's link up above too. But this is a topic best avoided I think.
