A cool 71 deg with a very light mist....that turned into a light rain...that turned into a steady rain for the 15 mile ride. Oh and this on a 20% chance of rain. That's why they make rain gear I suppose

isleofmanfan, did you not move here to get away from 6 months of non-riding? At least the high on Monday will only be 91f and I rode to a friends house tonight around 7 PM. and it was only 98f.......

Seriously though, I cant complain. I'll take the heat over walking out to the garage, lifting the bike cover to check the trickle charger, having a small riding day dream, then walking through the snow back into the house only to wait months to ride, any day! My main complaint out here is the marshall law style of over inforcement of super low speed limits. Its like riding through a mine field!

isleofmanfan, well you picked to work on that side of town. You have to realize the cops have to do something over there since they do not have any casinos they can pick on:)

What I'm hearing is that the number of drunk drivers has gone way down, lowering the constables income. So, they've expanded thier income horizon and commenced war on Joe common.

Almost perfect riding conditions -- 60s and sunny. Problem was, I couldn't ride because my oil change last night left me with a leak. No time to fix it before work, so it was the cage today.
Naturally, it seemed like every bike owner in the world was out enjoying the weather before it starts getting hot again.

I noticed that too. Every time I have to take the truck I see tones of bikes. Where are these things when I ride?

Took a 1.5hr detour to go pickup some documents. Mid 80's, slight overcast, no trucks, minimal traffic, and even to company of some random MCer for about 30min!

Fixed my leak and beautiful conditions this morning. 59 and sunny.
I don't know if it was the new oil, the topped-off clutch reservoir, or a combination of the two, but the bike seemed to be riding especially smooth today.

It's been 3 months since we had a morning low in the 60's, but the last 3 days we have had low humidity and upper 60's. Rode about 3 hours on the backroads just soaking in the nice weather and enjoying the ride. New rubber on the rear made the NH roll smoothly.

My road home this morning at 3:30am was jaw wrenching cold!! It was only 20 miles back to my house but in that time my fingertips turned a slight blue (darn fingerless gloves!) and my face mask was starting to fog at the bottom! It's August in CT !, it should not be that cold! Riding in the valleys next to a river doesn't help though.

For the first time in I think about a month, I was able to ride. And what a wonderful ride it was! The weather was perfect, I could have ridden in that weather all day.
Felt so good to be back on a bike!
