Regular fog is one thing, I've dealt with that before. But freezing fog is a whole other story. Bike and icy conditions don't get along very well!

Actually needed the electric vest plugged in as it was just freezing.  Sadly, I both had a blown fuse and grabbed the broken switch cord in the morning.  So it was a bit chilly.

Rode the EX500 today, still no electric heating and it was below freezing.  Thing gives little warning when run down to reserve, and I stalled out in the left lane of the highway going uphill.  I really like the hazard lights on the bike.  Some Sheriff's SUV pulled up almost instantly, and I have no idea how I'd ever have merged from rumble strip to left-lane rush hour traffic without pulling ahead of him parked there with the lights flashing.

Wired up the vest plug to the battery at lunch.

Hope you guys don't mind the bump. I'm noticing a slight increase in riding lately and thought that it might be time to revive this thread.

To start again, today was raining. Got to test out how water proof my jacket and pants are for about ~2hr of city riding. Temperature is about 40* and my winter liner worked like a charm.

It had been too long since my last ride on the NH so I decided to take a short ride.  Temp was 47F and breezy.  Wanted to ride up to the foothills and get a picture of the snow from yesterday.  However, after riding for about 30 minutes, it became clear that there wasn't much snow left so headed for home.  One thing that struck me right off the bat:  after riding the FT500 Ascot, the NH seemed heavy and hard to turn.   eek7  I'm sure I'll get used to it again with more riding..

Nice weather here. A bit overcast, but not cold. For this morning's excitement I got to enjoy some @$$hat cutting me off without looking...that wouldn't normally be anything special, but he had a "Look Twice, Save a Life" sticker.  umph

I've been cut off by the same multiple times.  That and vehicles with HD stickers.

Foggy with damp roads.  Cars spaced out very nicely so I could get around them.  The head check before a lane change paid off when I was about to do a high speed pass and found a state patrol cruiser barreling up in the left lane behind me.

So, beautiful ride and great weather, and I had a nice little scare getting the vfr vertical by accident.

Foggy this AM but B-E-A-U-tiful this afternoon. I'm loving the mesh jacket weather here...now if the pollen would only go away.  umph

First time riding into the new job. Had things to pick up and oil to change in the bike before I could ride to work. It's weird riding the bike without all the extra weight of bags. It's like a sport bike. So nimble.

Cold this morning. This week has had starting temps of 33* and ending in the mid 50's/60's.

40s this morning but 60s this afternoon and sunny.  I have a 10 minute commute so cold rides to work don't bother me so much.  Totally worth it if it's going to be in the 60s later in the day.

Cold 32°.

Though its 60° now so pretty excited to get off work. Shame my handlebars are still slightly bent. Probably will have to wrench on them some more tonight.

Cold here too. Hit 28 degrees on the way in. Kept telling myself that the ride home will be worth it.

I really need to investigate some good cold weather riding gloves and potentially heated grips.
