Been on a hunt for parts and parts bikes sense I picked up the 700S.    I messed up GOOD letting a Great deal on a 86 slip buy.    Then I looked at another 85 blue but in very bad shape, I mean Bad shape..   I've been watching this one for a lot of months, he's parted the top of it out and was sitting on this all year..  So today I grabbed it after some phone calls.  He even dang near brought to my  house, saved me a few hours of travel.

1985? Now you can do the overbore Capt. Kirk Mod.

Realistically, now you have enough parts for the 700 to live longer than us.  thumb

Did you get new fork bushings in those little bags? If so, please send me them.

Ya I'm all forked up for sure, this one is a 84 with about 40K but ran and shifted fine I guess. Seems to shift by hand, what ever that means..

Over bore, no kidding. I need info on that stuff cuz I want to try it.. My 85 has a knock just off bottom under load, sounds like piston  to me. Weather wrist pin or loose bore.

Fishy the seals are not from Honda if you can believe that. I also got all new bearings, Wahooooo there.......

I have a bad wiggle on right had turns, left just kinda..  The Front rim, right side has a dent, like it hit a curb.. So I think that or a messed up side wall right side may be the cause. I'll put that other one on and try it out..

Back end in 2nd and 3rd gear low RPM's and left hand turn, makes a scream screech nose ??? I'll pull the shaft one and see what's up, maybe change and try..

Any who I now have parts to play with, OH and I got a sweet speedo cable I needed and handle bars and strait for replacing.. Mine had a slight bend in the left side..

I was hoping not to have to buy a set of used tubes just for the bushings....share with your brother, the day may come that the semi has a part you need.
