Beautiful, CountryG.  Those are calendar worthy photos.  These should be submitted.

I agree with Dan.  I like them all but in the last shot the NH pops against the back drop of the h2o and mist.

Caught this one recently through the trees.  1st pic is from my friend's iphone.

2nd is an enhanced pic from my old flip phone.

I'll play. Okay, I give. How do you make the image smaller?

Ride fast and take chances.

Caught this sunset last week on an after work ride.  Seems like we get a few decent weather days during the work week, but when the weekend rolls around here comes the cold and rain.  Oh well, Spring will be here soon.

Have I mentioned lately how much I hate PB for their bullxxxx?
Millions of threads on the 'net ruined like this one with their ransom note attached...

You don't change the rules on old established users mid-game with no warning. I hope they go belly-up.

Agreed Cap.  I can't see paying $40/mo when so many other sites are free.

They can rot in hell. A few folks are defending their actions saying "Why should they provide hosting for free?"
Why?
1) Because they have for the last nearly 10 years...legal precedence.
2) Because every other hosting site does it for free at present
3) Because they wouldn't be jack-**** without people like you & I using their site
4) Because they changed the rules in the middle of the game, even for old, established accounts. With no warning to account users.
You don't tell people they can have something for free for 8 years, then say "Oh, we changed our mind". This is clearly a tactic of desperation by a company teetering on the verge of financial disaster. I'm so glad I switched to Flickr 5 years ago when PB started inundating me with pop-up ads and spyware. "Photo-gate" will go down in history as one of the biggest post-millennial blunders ever.

I use PhotoBucket and I pay a fee. It isn't monthly, mine is annually and it's around $35-40. It was free for me too but I reached a memory limit and needed to pay, delete content or leave. I have no problem paying a minimal amount for a decent hosting service so I paid.  If my fee switched to $40/month i would leave them too but so far it's not the case.

Dan - I have the same P/B service you have, but our days are numbered.  P/B is allowing us (paid subscribers0 to continue hosting until December 2018:

http://support.photobucket.com/hc/en-us/articles/115010128088-What-users-are-affected-by-the-changes-to-our-3rd-Party-Hosting-policies-

My plan renews in November, I will likely not renew it, and I'm definitely not upgrading to the $400 per year ransom.  I'm going to go to Smug Mug,, which is more expensive than what I currently have.  Going back to re-build the ride reports with the new 3rd party image hosting URL will be quite a PITA.

There is no law that requires any of them to continue providing the service without changing the rules - we are simply at their mercy.  The only thing I can do is create my OWN blogging site, and then direct people there, and hopefully recoup my investment with a little banner ad revenue.  I'm actually considering this for my retirement in a few years.

Thanks for the heads-up, Pants.  I'm not going to continue my account then and I doubt I will even update the subscription for just one more year if it's going to be taken away.  I also don't think I will relink all my old images as that would be a long and tedious task.  I guess it was good while it lasted.

PITA is right.  Going back to all the pics I have posted over the years is a task I am not willing to take on.  Pants would be occupied for days on end with all the ride reports he had authored.
