I had a great riding day yesterday with my buddies so I thought I would post some pics.  We rode 180 miles, would liked to have ridden more on this 80* day but we spent a good bit of time in Jeffeson TX  at a rally to benefit burn victims.  Jefferson has about 3,000 people but was easily doulbled as every brick street was bursting with bikes.

This old general store will take you back about 50 years.

With so many cruisers and rockets, this old Goldwing stood out.  I guess I just like old bikes and with all the old NH we have on this board that still run and look great I am still sold on Hondas.

Best part of the day was riding the empty backroads.

You would think a 64 year old would have better sense.

Beautiful ranch in the middle of nowhere.  I wish the pic did it justice but it really doesn't.

No day of riding is complete without good eats and we chowed down on BBQ here.  These kind of days are why I am so glad I am blessed enough to have a MC and the time to enjoy it.  I am working about 65 hours a week now and a day like this is a great stress reliever.

Much more eventful than my Saturday ride.

I think the bike was out only an hour over the weekend. Yes it's sad, but there's not a whole lot from Home Depot I can carry on the bike. (Hmm, maybe a 2x4 Joust) Not only that, I'm still nervous about being stranded incase it doesn't start again. I'm beginning to think that it was just an issue where a kickstand switch may not have been complete making contact. It'll take some time before my confidence is up.

Anyway,  ontopic, good ride report. Hope you had fun.
