Just placed my order for 2 new tires (Dunlop GT501's) new fork seals and wipers, and 10w fork oil. I hope the oil will help stiffen the front a bit, it's a tad soft now, and new seals of course will help! Parts should be here Wednesday, so I hope to be back on the road by the weekend! Woohoo!   banana ricky

If you want a stiffer front make a new set of front fork spacers that are a tad longer. the easy way to do this is to add 2-4 washers on each side.

The 501's have a soft sticky feel to them and I have found require a couple additional lbs. of air pressure over Honda's recommendation.

Does anybody know if the Dunlop 501 was the OEM tire for the '96 750 NH?

Soft and sticky is always a good thing!  naughty  I plan to make new spacers for the front fork springs when I put the new seals in, and I will try that. If it does what I want, then great! If not, I'll be buying Progressive springs and going with 15w oil.  We'll see.  I am doing some painting and cleaning while I have the bike torn apart, so it will hopefully look totally different when it goes back together!

Hey adam2kgt , Got an up date ?    Have you put them new 501's on ? I'm looking at them my self. Seems to be a popular tire for the 700S clan.    How did the forks come out  lurker

Hey Pants,
I must've missed this thread when it first came around.   The OEM tire for all of the '91-'03 bikes was the Dunlop 505.
