I found a guy who says he has a sissy bar to an 1986 650 NH. Of course he doesn't have pictures, but says it was on his Nighthawk (1986), so I'm thinking of driving the 20 minutes to see if it's the right one, especially since he only wants $40.

Will the sissy bar for the 1986 fit a 1985? I've looked at pictures on here of aftermarket bars and hondaline; is there anything I should look for in particular? Or should I probably just bring my bike to see if it's the right size?

Any info or tips, specifically on whether an 86 would fit an 85, would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I think it would work from 83-85 models. Although I thought that the 650 ended in 85. Although the price seems low, I wouldn't make the drive until I saw some pictures. But you never know until you find out.
