Ok so me and my brother go riding up 337 (one leg of the sisters) for those not familiar, and we stop in Leakey to eat at The Hog Pen and sitting amongst the HD's is a beautiful 700S. I finally see the owner approach the bike and I start a conversation during which I mention the NH ride last weekend and he says "you're on the forum"- small world, turns out its captjohn.
My brother and I initiate capt and SOQS to the nicest part of 337 and they ride with us down to medina where capt and my bro head off to Kerrville and I head back to Boerne.
On the way up my brother and I stop at the jail (built in 1866) and the original courthouse for Bandera County (also seen in pants ride report) but what the hey, and then stop at the same gas station we did last week to find some beautiful Cobras.
Not part of todays ride but I took this some time ago and thought I need to post it. This is a local restaurant in Welfare Tx. I like the name but honestly I have never tried the food.

Dont know about the restaurant name, family nickname or something. Ive never been inside there but I hear they make an awesome chicken fried steak. Maybe Ill go up tomorrow for lunch and report back. Yea the majority of the Cobras were kits but there were a couple of originals there that were just incredible.

That looks familiar.  If I lived in that area I know where I would be riding regularly.

running the sisters in a cobra would be almost as much fun as the NH..... almost.

Good times.   Real good times.
