I've owned this since 1989. I keep thinking about newer bikes, but for what I do this works great. Allan

Glad to see someone who doesn't let a good thing go. People generally regret it when they sell one off... I keep thinking about newer bikes, but for what I do this works great. oddly, this is exactly what keeps me from thinking about new bikes... So what do you do

to the forum! Wow, since 1989 huh? I guess we know who took such good care of it all these years! It's a great looking bike, continue to take care of it and ride safe.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I have around 57000 miles on it - I haven't been riding much over the last 10 years, but I put quite a bit on it for the first 10 years I owned it.
I have ridden a lot of newer bikes, but other than my brother-in-law's Ducati, I just don't get much charge out of anything else. I think the Nighthawk S is the true Universal Japanese Motorcycle (do any of you remember that term?)

Lot's of miles, any issues that go hand in hand with these Sweet bikes ? I see your missing the trim on top of the wind shield, high speed fly off.

Great looking bike there Allan. You know the red/blacks are the fastest color combination, right? Which tank bag you sportin there? See, we gots lots of questions! The tank bag is a Chase Harper bag. It's hard to fit a tank bag to our tanks since they aren't flat on top, but this one works okay. Allan
