I decided I needed a ride today to clear my head and make me feel normal again. I only did a couple of hundred miles but, it felt alot longer to me. I'm wiped out and need a nap but, it was totally worth it.

I started heading west for some country roads when I took out the camera from my tank bag, turned it on to do the obligatory self portrait shot on the bike when the camera said "memory full". I pulled off the road to check it out and what do I find???? The memory card is not in the camera.

Luckily for me, there was a Wal Mart nearby.

Now that I have a memory card...here we go.  naughty

I just headed west to find as many "Rustic Road" routes as I could. It's not easy trying to take pics on a moving bike but, I did the best I could.

A little throttle action for you...

Most of my scenery was mostly farm land. I didn't mind though.

Half way through my ride, I stopped off at a picnic area in the woods for a photo op.

This was the entrance to a system of trails. I was wishing I had a dual sort at this moment.  :'(

I finally tried out the timer option on my camera. I dig this pic...

The bugs were still out.

Proof that I was riding while taking the pics.  naughty

After I got home. It was a bit chilly and my nose was a runnin. Just thought I would share.  ImaPoser

What a great ride. I needed that, BAD!!!!  happy1

Awesome report  thumb
I often take mental health rides. They usually happen on my lunch break or in the evening after the kids are in bed. Sad that I can't enjoy them soon as winter is fast approaching  Sad

I wish I was a wizard...no wait, does being a wizard mean that you are a porn star? If not, then I don't want to be a wizard. Just kidding...

Seriously, that pic just screamed 'Facebook Profile Pic' when I saw it  aparat

We're going to have to schedule a ride next spring. I'd love to see that Bandit hitting the twists and hills of Grant County.

You had to go and set that beautiful Bandit in front of me one more time before the snow flies, din'cha!?  Good on ya, I'm glad to see you're out and kickin.  Wow, what a black beauty.  AND ITS GOT A FUEL GUAGE!  I'm trying to imagine how much fun its going to be having a actual fuel gauge in the future.

I know what you mean about riding for mental therapy.  I could use a soul cleansing ride about now.  Maybe my neighbor will let me take his Ruckus out for a burn.  Thanks for taking us for a ride!

I forgot a couple of pics...

I stopped by the river for a few minutes to relax.

It's a shame that the winter is almost here and the bike has to sit for several months. I really need to move out west or down south where there is always rideable weather.  Sad

I know there's muskies and walleye in there. Where's your pole?

Fall fishing in Wisconsin brings back memories.....I once fished the Chippewa Flowage and after a long fight reeled in a 2 foot shredded carcass of an originally hooked northern.

Monster muskie or sturgeon must have ripped it from head to tail.  bugey

Needless to say, I no longer took the bar of Irish Spring to the river for my morning bath after that.  ImaPoser

Then the next day (Sun) at the visit to the bait shop the owner opened up an ice cream type of freezer and showed us some pre-historic fish somone caught that looked like this:

Friggin' toothy fish it was!

He was waiting on the DNR to pick it it on Monday and said in all his years he had never seen anything like it.

Wisconsin vacation was beautiful, but kind of spooky.

Glad to see you out and about!

Hot looking Bandit too.  I was thinking of doing red wheel stripes but I think it looks better on your all black one that it would on mine.  I'm picking up some Vstom handguards tomorrow.  They are supposed to bolt right on and protect from winter wind.

Probably a bowfin (aka dogfish). It's most distinctive feature is the long dorsal fin running most of the length of the spine. I caught one once when I lived up north. Fished most of my life in the state and never knew we had them. Prehistoric-looking things.

I like the rim stripes on your bike too.  Like Ari's, the red stripe puts a great touch on your black bikes.

Your tank bag is huge, JB.  You could lay down on it and take a nap.

The "F/B" pic is my favorite.  I can see the stress relief in your expression.  You look "comfortable".

Now, go make a salad.   rollinglaugh

I love it when people use the term "up north". Most of the time, only people from Wisconsin understand what that means.  ImaPoser
