Bought these on closeout last year:

http://www.jafrum.com/Motorcycle-Gear/Mens-Textile-Motorcycle-Pants/LP2821

Wore them for the first time yesterday.  The quilted removable liner is excellent.  They claim "waterproof", but I was more interested in colder weather protection.  The knee armour is generous, but comfortable.  Left the house yesterday in 43 degrees (personal low, I think) - these pants worked great.

I give them a  thumb

BTW - this company's gear is first quality.  I've had these pants for a year and they are still holding up well:

Love my fleece-lined jeans. This time of year they become my standard riding attire until I pick up a pair of overpants. My b-day's coming up in a few weeks; maybe I need to send this link to SOQS. naughty

How do those run size-wise. I'm 5'9", about 190; can anyone recommend a size that might be a good fit?

I'm 6'-0" and weigh 200.  I choose size XL and they fit very well.

My blue jeans are 36 x 34.  If the legs were about 1 inch longer, it would be a little better, but High Pockets Pants has gotten used to this inconvenience over the past 30 years.   coollaugh

Nice product and reasonably priced.  We hit I-49 doing 70 mph in mid 40 degree temps.  My legs were nice and toasty.  If you want to wear these as overpants, perhaps one size up would be appropriate.

musicboohoo  If I could find a pair of riding pants that even came close to the right length I'd know for sure they were ice skating in hell.  banghead

Are these over-pants? I didn't see that exact text on the site, but I would get these for riding to work with. Maybe order 1 size larger?

I would not call these overpants.  They do come with a removable quilted liner and without that, the legs are real "puffy" - so I suppose that might work.  One size larger might also work.

Also, the removable liner is zip-out around the waist, with the little snap and elastic on each leg - to keep the liner in place.  Since my legs are so long (again, always a problem), on Saturday, I simply unsnapped the leg elastic thingies, and then tucked each liner leg inside of my riding socks, and then draped the pants leg over that.  Worked terrific - no wind on my legs.

Hope that makes sense.  SOQS says I'm a Fashion Disaster - I consider that a tremendous compliment.  wacko

Detdrbuzzard - let me know what you think of these pants.

Today the kind Buzzman took a ride on his Wing and delivered a pair of these pants to me.

They are of very good quality, extremely comfortable and fit like they were tailored for me.
Highly recommended, a definite 4 thumbs up!  thumb thumb thumb thumb

Thanks Pants for your review, sure helped in getting a real value!

They're still on sale boys and girls, unbelievable quality for that price!
