The weather made it up to the mid 60's here today So I had to find some time to get out for a ride before I put the bikes away for the winter. My kids had hockey games today but I was able to sneak out for a quick 100ish mile ride today on the 700s between games. This was the first real ride i had on the 700 besides running around the neighbor hood and quick road tests while getting it together. The 700 is a great ride, I enjoyed it so much I wonder if I'll ever ride the 650 again.  scratcher

So anyway I only had a couple of hours to ride and stayed local, I hit some of the country roads in Bucks county. Here are a few pics. Hope you enjoy.

Beautiful scenery and bike! Did you give the throttle a good twist yet?

Just to help clear up opinions......better than the 650?

I've ridden 650's and feel they are way too small for me.

I love the 650 too, but after today's ride I don't know how much I'll be riding it. The 700 was a lot more fun and at 6'0" 240, the 650 is a little cramped.

Congrats on all your hard work on her, it payed off.

Glad you got a chance to blow those cobwebs out or the poor girl would have had to wait till spring.

Full tank of gas with stabilizer, run some into the carbs, drain bowls and keep the battery float charged.

I even put the old gas into my truck in spring and fill the scoot with fresh before I start it the first time.

Very nice, you need to put some of those pics in the "NHs with Scenery" thread.  thumb

Nice pics HH.  I've never ridden across a covered bridge.  I've only seen a few to be honest.

Which tires are you sporting on that 700?

The tail bag is a nelson rigg cl 75, here is the link I posted when I got it. It looks like newenough raised the clearance price since I bought mine. I paid $39.99

http://nighthawk-forums.com/index.php/topic,5784.0.html

The tires are bridgestone battleaxe bt 45's, they were on the bike when I got it, still in very good condition.
