An acquaintance of mine posted this video of himself, he looked over his shoulder to check on his ridding buddy and nearly lost it himself.

Ball check?
He got that right. He tossed the ball completely out of the cage. (aviation reference for the turn coordinator)

Coming out of a corner is really the wrong time to check six owl-style.  You can get away with this a bit if you watch lane lines, but that lane line was too far way (the one he didn't cross).

Actually all the gravel saved him.  That was gonna be a nasty high side but the end snap didn't happen because of all the pea gravel.  Either he is fearless, or that was an underwear changing event.  NICE SAVE, in any event!

What kinda bike is the broad slide dude riding?  Looked like it accelerated pretty hard.

Shows how important it is to always look through the turn. Bet he had to change his shorts after that.  poke

To me it looks like that's someone who's ridden in some dirt -- he handled that like a motocross rider. Nice save...but he's probably the first person to tell you that it should never have happened in the first place.

All I could see was the rear catching traction when he gunned it and him shooting across into that semi.  bugey  Hope he realized how bad that could have been.

I believe he was riding his SV650, it has been considerable tuned.

I dont know how much dirt experience he has, but I can tell you that is not the first time he has slid in that same corner. Truth be told he is often teased about the number of times he has been down and at least once in that same spot, if not more. He has spent a considerable amount of time riding track though.
