I got a 1995 honda nighthawk 750.  The guy that i got the bike from took the baffles out.  Some people call them a horn baffle.  Well i would like to find a set so i get put them back in, but have not idea where to find them at.  I dont feel like paying $200 for a whole use exhaust set on ebay.  Thanks again.

Ingersoll,

There are some badly rusted pipes out there on e-bay for 50 bucks.  Also, check to see if you have any motorcycle re-cyclers close to where you live.  They may have something that will work for you.

Mac. company make an entire exhaust for the bike for around $200.00. I found mine on E-bay then called Mac and installed a baffle.

My brother lost the baffle from his 650 Nighthawk's 4/1 exhaust system while on the freeway. From what he shared, it just blew itself right out. He tried circling back to find it but he couldn't locate it.

The bike is way too loud without it. The 4/1 exhaust was already pretty beat up that's why he painted it. Not sure of exhaust manufacturer though. The diameter of the exhaust at the tip is 3.75"

He has a 919 and VTX 1300 but the one he rides the most is his Nighthawk so he'll need a fix for it.

Mac Performance was recommended by Cafe Nighthawk in a previous posting. Here's the link to their Baffles page:

Do you think something here might work?

Here's a photo of my brother's bike. Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks

Where do you live? I have some that are mildly modified.

Thanks Traditional Tat.

I'm in So. CA. about 30 minutes east of downtown Los Angeles (when there's no traffic which is like super rare  Hap1)

My brother may have found what he needed at the Mac Performance store. It's located about an hour south of us in Temecula (nice wine country if ever anyone is out in the area). We've both been busy but I'll try and catch up with him this weekend and see where he's at with the fix.

I'll post the results, hopefully to help others that might find themselves in a similar situation.
