Your 92 is a nice looking bike. I just joined the forum, I bought an 03 750 Nighthawk a couple of weeks ago, it is red but the engine is painted black. Probably the only difference from the 92 is the black engine. I had a black 92 several years ago and sold it, regretted it ever since. My other bike is a Suzuki GSX650, been riding for over 46 years. I enjoy looking at the bikes and getting information of the Nighthawks.

Standard paint polish really shined up my gas tank. Should be able to find it at any auto parts store, maybe even Wal-Mart.

Changed the grips today, added a throttle lock, and ordered a Street Shield EX. I had a talk with the KLR. She is feeling neglected. I promised to take her out this weekend to clear her carbs.

Good choice on the shield, IMO. That was my warm weather shield and I loved it. It's the one in my avatar.

Man I love this bike! Got my new windshield adjusted, put on some new chrome/black Avon handgrips, added mirror extensions so I can see behind me, added a Cortech Sport tail bag, and ordered handlebar risers (1 up/1.25 back)...waiting for them to come in. I added some SeaFoam to the tank but can't tell a difference...thought it couldn't hurt. No matter what I did to the KLR, I was still underwhelmed. The NH is exactly the opposite. Everything I've done has just made it that much closer to perfect. Thanks for all your comments and support. You guys rock!

Great score, I wish I could've found mine for that price in that nice of a condition! I think I saw you riding it down Kitty Hawk the other day! I'll wave at ya next time I've got my black NH rolling!
