Someone told me that this looked like a factory honda sprocket.  Can you tell by the picture if that is true?

   A little late to this thread, but the answer is "yes".  The factory sprocket has that extra guide-like thingy attached.  Aftermarket sprockets don't have it. Just a plain metal sprocket.

  I wondered about that when I replaced my sprocket with an aftermarket JT, but whatever that thing is, I haven't missed it.
