2008 cmx250 head on a 92 cb250?

Sorry to double post this but the auctions ending soon and Im hopin to get an answer, Im tryin to replace a head on a 92 nighthawk, after more than a month of nothing but broken ones on ebay, theres a 08 rebel head for sale. I tried cross referancing the parts #s and i havent found anything conclusive Ive been told on this board that the engines are the same but with the big difference in model years I want to make sure before I buy it. does anyone know if this will work?

Doubt it.
I know this is a little late. The Rebel has a dual carb setup. Cams are a little different. Physically look different.
