Might be a dumb question but,  puzzled  does anyone know if the exhaust from the 83-85 550 nighthawks will work on the 650?  Or any other parts for that matter, like aftermarket engine guards, for example.
I need a new right side muffler or complete exhaust and saw a 550 set at a good price.  I have an 85 Nighthawk 650.
Thanks in advance for all your help.    mol

OK How about this?  Does anyone know if the 700sc exhaust will hook up? If it will attach at headpipes and cylinder I believe I could make the other brackets if needed.  I think the black chrome looks good.

Anyone know- 700sc exhaust complete on an 85 Nighthawk 650?

They would hook up at the head for sure, and I would think they would bolt up underneath the engine as well. The biggest hurdle would be the rearmost mount at the passenger peg.

What do you think about a 700sc exhaust fitting? Just curious

The cut is different on the 550. I highly doubt the 700 exhaust would work. Totally different engines.
