Buddy of mine up in Oregon thought it would be cool to do some of the Oregon back country trail in between work trips, so we got two klrs set up for some back country action.
Day two, during a great rally session I looked back to find that my top box and dry bag GONE. Last I checked (15 miles ago) it was still there. HA so we had to re gear in Bend Oregon with about a grand worth of tools, parts, camping gear and some of my clothes.
Other then that flawless trip, camping, hotels, adult beverages and definitely some of the best roads Ive ever experienced.

Man, I was bummed when I lost a set of Frogg Toggs off the bike earlier this year. If I had your misfortune, I'd be PO'd.
Looks like a blast. A dual sport under the xmas tree would make my heart sing. (ain't gonna happen, though)

snagged the side of a deep rut... that little dirt held on for another 500 miles.

I like that B/W shot of the tent under that huge twisted tree. That is a great picture.

Awesome pics! Quite the set up too. Nice. Looks like a lot of fun. I had a friend lose their gear off the top of a DR too. Rough luck, but it's cool you kept a good perspective and it didn't sour the whole trip.
