Very cool helmet. Pretty pricey too. I don't have experience with that brand myself but, I have heard they are good helmets though.

Looks good, I just couldn't pay that for a "Shark" brand helmet. Places often put lids on sale after the first of the year, maybe if you keep an eye out you could get the same lid for less.

Shark is one of the top helmets and widely used in racing. One of the best brands in helmet, but also one of the most expensive like Arai. There are lots of helmets test to be found on the net, might want to "google" around.
But if you like the looks and an live with the price, my advise would be to go for it.

I've picked a lower-priced Shark helmet up and molested it, and was impressed with the fit & finish compared to other brands.

Apparently one of the more "involved" helmet testing procedures.

Apparently one of the more "involved" helmet testing procedures. Even the latching & visor mechanisms are silky smooth.

Haven't bought the helmet yet , i can't decide between the two color designs Jonno173 ....I owned a Shark RSX for 2 years now and really like it , that's why i want to stick with the same brand , i've considered Arai until i scrolled down to the prices $ 600-900 (not happening). Looks good, I just couldn't pay that for a "Shark" brand helmet. Places often put lids on sale after the first of the year, maybe if you keep an eye out you could get the same lid for less. I considered that too and googled around for one on closeout , found the RSX for $150 but only in size XS .

I clicked on the link for that helmet and since then an ad for that helmet has shown up in several webpages I have visted not even remotely related to motorcycles. Coincidence?

Nope, just an example of the sneakiness of web advertising. My wife used my computer to search for new bedroom furniture. Guess what I see ads for now?

Yep that's going to be the new lid ....reason is change (change is good) but i really like the venting system on these helmets opposed to others and the visor action looks way better too , they also have a transition shield you can get , just like transition glasses.

Lookin pretty spiffy....can't wait to try on that armor vest in person at the Deals Gap Rally! Do those armored shorts have any sort of padding in the um...seating area to make long trips more comfortable?

The shorts have impact and abrasion protection only including a tail bone piece you can see in the video ...the vest is realllllly comfortable and slim (i was wearing it under the jacket with the liner in and it's non intrusive at all).

Looks good Hangster! Does your current jacket have elbow armor? Do you have to remove it to wear the Knox elbow armor?

Yep Fishball , jacket has them but they will shift on you in a crash and you don't need to pull them out while having the Knox on but you can , these thing just cling to you and very comfortable (so i think i'll yank out the jacket ones )
