Hey coffe_brake, thanks for this posting!! I'm working a deal for the fairing.. Looks like a good deal.. I will have a fairing to use for the casting project without putting the one on the bike at risk.. Again, many thanks!!

That's who I bought my tank from a couple months ago.  It came off that Red/White/Blue 'hawk with the fairing.

I would think hard about dealing with these people directly. And second guess dealing via ebay.  When 2 people/parties come to an agreement and then a party changes the agreement is wrong no matter how you look at it..

Just so I'm clear.. Your wanting 150 total or 150 plus shipping?  And please decline my offer on ebay as it's the same as what was agreed in this email chain.

Then I guess I am backing out... I just think for all the effort to box this think up and take it apart it should be worth a bit more. If you dont think so, no problem.

No, we have came to an agreement on the amount. Are you now wanting to back out of what was agreed?  I have only asked for you to confirm what was included as your website was not as clear as what you posted to ebay that I found yesterday.

To counterbalance that, I should note that I bought a 700S instrument cluster from them via eBay/Paypal and it arrived as advertised. The only complaint I had was that their price was a bit more than I'd wanted to pay and that they were slow to answer questions via eBay.

<shrug> Not endorsing them, and due to lack of communications I *probably* won't buy from them again - but they didn't seem to be in the rip-off biz when I dealt with them earlier this year.

Oh well, can't win 'em all, but that *does* seem a bit high for the fairing.
At least you got out before the...uh...well, you know....could begin!

Let that fairing sit around and collect dust for a while...bad customer service will bite 'em right back!

I agree with ya. He likes it more than I do. Would of been nice to use that one for my casting project and not the one on the bike that really has no issues.. Doing that is already making me bite my nails...
