My bucketlist bike
« on: January 22, 2018, 04:55:14 AM »

I always liked the CB350f's and never owned one. This nice example came up for sale locally so I picked it up. Smooth as a sewing machine.

So where is the picture of your bike?  That picture looks like it rolled off the showroom floor.

Wow !

That bike is C L E A N !!!

Were those 4 into 2's stock?
Maybe I'm remembering an earlier 4 into 4 version back in the day.
In any case, way to check off a bucket list item.
I doubt you could have done better with the help of a genie in a bottle.

I just looked up the value in Hagerty assuming it was a 1973 (not that you'd want to sell it)
If it is as pristine up close as it looks in your photo, looks like a $4,000 to $5,000 bike.

Well done sir!

It is probably not as nice as the photo looks but it is very nice. These 350's (like similar period 550 and 750's) came with a 4 into 4 exhaust. In order to save weight the 350 pipes were thin and very prone to corrosion. Original or NOS 4x4 pipes are rare and $$$. That is one reason you will see a lot converted to 4 into 2 or 4 into 1.

Yep the 4 into 4 was a bad idea - they never warmed up enough to remove the water..
Regardless, it is a VERY nice machine.
Thanks for sharing the pic - It brought me back!
