What a great stable.  That GS700 must have been a direct competitor to the 700s.  Once you are finished with your RWB, I'd be interested in hearing your comparisons.  Also, can you tell us a little more about your other bikes?  Year/make/model - mileage.  I'm particularly curious about the Yami is that a 2-banger?

Wydopn, your bikes all look amazing. claps  You can really tell you take great care of them! (and have better tech/$$ resources than I do!  Sad)  Keep us updated on your frankenzuki, that thing is going to be a dang beast!  Do you think you'll have it done by the 2011 Rally?  If you could make it, that bike would be a blast in NC.   ricky

The rally will most likely be held towards the end of May at Kick Stand Lodge.  Last year was a great time, and everyone got along great. If you want to get a feel for what it was like, take a look at the 2010 Picture and Video thread. Check out the 2011 Thread for details on the coming rally.  Some Louisiana members will be making the trip, I'm sure you guys could meet up and ride together.  Hope to see you there!  thumb

I came within a whisker of buying an 85 Suzuki 700es from a used bike dealer just before I found my Nighthawk.  Had it been in half as good as shape as yours it would have been a done deal.  Beautiful stable of bikes.  I really like that Yamaha too.

What a great combination on your GS1100 project.  A "bullet" proof motor that makes big power, but without the ridiculously agressive cams of the big Gixxer.  Combine that with a great handling front end, and a little longer swingarm for better touring stance.  Add some aftermarked suspension and brakes and Holy Moses - I want one.   giggle rayof

You mechanical geniouses are amazing.

 drooler Great looking 1100!

I dream of putting a 1200 Bandit SACS engine in a bike like that. Air cooled with modern performance. That looks like it's going to be a great ride.
