drooler Great looking 1100!

I dream of putting a 1200 Bandit SACS engine in a bike like that. Air cooled with modern performance. That looks like it's going to be a great ride.

Actually leaving the stock 1100 motor in it...

That's a nice collection Wydopn.  If you ever ride in the wide open space of East Texas let me know, would like to see some of your bikes in person.  We had a small gathering of NH's in the Hill Country in October and had a great time.  I would like to see another get together of everyone close to Texas this Spring, maybe you could bring one of those bad boys of yours.

What a great stable.  That GS700 must have been a direct competitor to the 700s.  Once you are finished with your RWB, I'd be interested in hearing your comparisons.  Also, can you tell us a little more about your other bikes?  Year/make/model - mileage.  I'm particularly curious about the Yami is that a 2-banger?

Sorry, I missed this comment. The little Yami is a 1970 R5 350 with 5000 original miles on it...and yep a 2 banger ..smokes like a chimney!! ricky

That's an awesome collection of motorcycles, and a very very very clean shop. Wish i could get my garage looking that good, but i guess the cars being driven in and out of it don't help matters at all...One car might find itself outside soon so the two bikes can take up a couple lanes...Neway, good stuff, and great luck with the projects!

WYDOPN:  Thinking back to when I ran snowmobiles instead of bikes, I remembered the terrible fuel mileage my 600 twin got.  Do you have Any idea what kind of mileage your 350 might get?

Several of my friends in my High School days had RZ350's and RD350's. They were a blast. One friend had an RZ500...it was fast.

WYDOPN, nice stable you got there. I have a GS700E as well. I purchased this bike in July
of last year and I am almost done with it. Mine is not as pretty as yours it is rough on the
plastics but intact though. I do have a question about a technical issue and will send you
a PM.

Here is a link for any interested to see the difference between a really nice bike and
a not so nice one: http://nighthawk-forums.com/index.php/topic,6754.0.html

That looks a lot like the original FJ1100/1200.  There was one of those at KSL with us last time with a hard bag set up.
