Mostly just curious, but...
Anyone know if a 84/85 700sc nighthawk engine will bolt into an 85 nighthawk 650 frame?
the left side of theses cases look identical the right differs on the cover but it appears the case is nearly the same.
Mostly curious as it appears i will need a new engine as mine appears it is locked up. I might be able to tear it down and repair it but with the price of complete engines so low...I will spend probably three times what i would to overhaul the engine as I would just tossing and re-ringing another one.

the 700sc engine is more upright so I highly doubt it would be a direct swap.
