I love that old school look, and my wife does too. When Coffeebrake and her husband Hutch came to visit he rode his W650 and she had a fit over that bike. Y'all take good care of those beautiful machines and ride safe!

Beautiful bikes you have there. Keep those pictures of Southern California coming. Well, there's this video my boyfriend and his buddies made quite awhile ago. It was shot (on film!) on a neat stretch of twisties just off the 94. We're also planning on making a campy 80's commercial for my 82 NH450 too, from a gal's perspective. If we ever have a chance to pull it off, we'll post it here for sure.

Kawasaki might still be selling the W650 if they used ads like that.

R.I.P White Stripes Nice video, far and away one of the better 'homegrown' ones I've seen. Is somebody angling for a job with a video production company?

Love that W650. I wish companies still made bikes like that in the same amount that they made cruisers and crotch rockets. Dream Garage would include: Nighthawk 650, Bmw R65, Kawa E650. Respectively. Keep the pictures and videos coming.

Love that W650. I wish companies still made bikes like that in the same amount that they made cruisers and crotch rockets. I think you might see a few once again making their way back to the States. Especially with this new model that features fuel injection and thus gets under the emissions standards. Sadly, no kickstand on the latest offering. It's funny though, I lived and worked in Japan for awhile, and the "big 3" there all had retro models that enjoyed good sales; still do. I think the market is moving into that territory now here in the U.S.. The generation that liked the Harley aesthetic has moved on, and the next nostalgia niche market (I would guess) is going to be the 60's/70's style of bike. After all what do the folks who are 40-50 years old, and have the most disposable income, relate to when it comes to motorbikes of their youth? Maybe the W650 was a decade too soon for the American market.
