For $250.00, he got more than his money's worth.  I'm envious to say the least.

UT! Beautiful country! I'm headed there again for an undetermined amount of time this summer.

$12.50 to get into Bryce? Eh whatever. My heavily used national parks pass won't even notice!  deal

From Nomad Bumblebee's 2010 journey notes: Anyone who is planning on going through more than about 4-5 national park entrance gates should seriously look into the national parks pass and at the entry fees of the places they're going to. The pass is $80 per year and is good at every national park (including historic site, recreation area, etc) in the country. And if you happen to get a bad case of wanderlust, well, let's just say last summer I quit counting when it paid for itself 3 times over - and it was only the beginning of July...  giggle

Holy crap!! Silver City, Idaho??

That was one of the stops we made back in 1974 when we took a family trip from NY to visit relatives in Boise. I recall walking around there and was amazed at the history, even though I was only 9 at the time.

That looks pretty awesome.  I'd love to take some time to just ride around the black hills sometime.
