This is short but I thought those of you stuck in the cold and snow might like a little green.
My husband washed both our bikes this morning then we went for a ride up to San Pedro.
Stopped at El Pollo Loco and grabbed a couple of chicken burritos. I like these so much he used to bring them to me when I lived in Michigan.  happy1
Stopped at a park and had a picnic.

This walk lined with palms is a popular wedding spot.

You get a nice view of the city, with snow capped mountains behind, from between the palms.

Loved the roots on this tree.

The Vincent Thomas Bridge (heading towards Long Beach) with a cruise ship at dock is off in the distance.

The weather report today was for partly cloudy and temps in the 70's. If you look hard you will see a cloud in one of the shots. In SoCal one puffy white cloud makes for a partly cloudy day.  ImaPoser

How lovely.  Thanks Burgi.  I hope to ride with you the next time you're out this way!

By the way, did you jump on that job prospect across town?

Thats funny you mention how the weather people describe the weather conditions out there.  It was the same in Vegas, there only had to be one or two little clouds for them to call it partly cloudy.  Darn I miss the weather out there!  Last summer (March-Oct.) it rained twice at my place.  One time never got the sidewalk completely wet!

It was gorgeous here this weekend.  It might have even hit 40 degrees!  The snow is melting...

We are expecting a great week here in the south. Normal to above normal temps all week, with no rain. The problem is that we are in a drought.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they have a weather segment on the news here, there is no weather.  happy1
Still working on the details of the job. It sure is a different than the "work from home" plan I had going.
Hopefully you can make it over to the east side next time I get in town!

Great pics, Burgi.  I have a couple of what looks like those palm trees in my yard.  They are at least 10 years old, but only about 4 feet tall.   giggle  Must be a different variety I guess.

Nice photos, about this time of year I tend to forget what green grass looks like and warm temps feel like.  And a chicken burrito sounds just about perfect right now.
